Contact: 208.725.5522
The Royal Larkspur Play Troupe was founded in 2000 to promote outstanding classical and contemporary theatre. The company has a passion for the kinds of plays that will live forever—ones that have already survived a considerable test of time and are constantly being revived. Royal Larkspur presents productions with an emphasis on the classics, such as “Waiting for Godot”, “Hedda Gabler”, “Private Lives”, “Galileo”, “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”, “Love Letters”, and some sporadic contemporary theater.
The Royal Larkspur Play Troupe is a non-profit, non-corporate organization that does not accept donations or apply for grants. Generally, it performs free of charge.
The Play Troupe produces mostly staged readings of plays on a shoestring budget as a means of encouraging residents and visitors alike to discover the great joys of theatre, thereby creating new supporters of all theatre. Most plays are performed at nexStage Theatre.
